Bank of Cape Cod Social Media Statement

At Bank of Cape Cod, we are excited to be a part of the Social Media revolution so we have yet another means to communicate with our customers and friends. In order to keep the conversation flowing and your personal information safe online, we recommend when visiting our Facebook page, Linked In page or other Social Media sites you follow some of these helpful guidelines.

Private or confidential information: Never provide or post any confidential information, such as details about your account or other personal information. We will never ask you to provide this information through Facebook or any other type of Social Media channel.

Communication: We welcome your feedback and input, but we request individuals refrain from using offensive language or personal attacks. Bank of Cape Cod’s Social Media policy is that access may be denied or terminated if users upload or make accessible infringing content.

Opinions/endorsements: Bank of Cape Cod does not endorse any comments made by its employees, unless they are an authorized representative of the bank. All unofficial statements and viewpoints expressed on Social Media channels are strictly those of an individual. Bank of Cape Cod is not responsible and does not endorse any advertised posts or comments by Facebook or third party sites or applications that may appear on the bank’s Facebook page.

Bank of Cape Cod will post photographs taken at bank-sponsored events and local events in galleries and photos on its Facebook page. It is our policy not to tag individuals in photos, but will allow other users to tag themselves and others in photos.
