  1. How do I get started using Bank of Cape Cod Online Banking?

Next, type in your User Code, temporary password, and click “Submit”. This will validate your identity and provide you with access to Online Banking’s secure area web site. The Online Banking introduction page will appear on your screen. To view your accounts, simply click the Accounts button.

  2. What should I do if I forget my Online Banking password?
If you forget the password, please contact us at 508.568.2300. We will issue you a new temporary password. You will be “locked out” of the Online Banking system if you attempt to log on 3 times with the incorrect password. In this event, please contact us to have your access restored.

  3. Is my personal financial information safe with Bank of Cape Cod’s Online Banking?
In addition to traditional firewall security and customer-level passwords, Online Banking supports 128-bit encryption. During this encryption process, your financial information is scrambled as it is transmitted to prevent unauthorized individuals from reading it. The information is then unscrambled or "decrypted" as it is received. This protects your information as it is processed to and from Bank of Cape Cod.

  4. What requirements must my computer system meet to access Online Banking? You can access Online Banking with just about any personal computer system running Microsoft Windows®. Other than your computer, you need only a Bank of Cape Cod bank account, User Code and password, and Internet access using Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0 service pack 1 or higher, Netscape Communicator 6.1 or higher, Mozilla’s Firefox 1.0 or higher, or Opera 7.54 or higher.

  5. What should I do if I can’t view all of my account information on the screen at once?
Online Banking is best viewed with Microsoft® Internet Explorer, with a screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels. If your screen resolution can't be adjusted, you will need to scroll right to left and up and down to see the entire text of the page.

  6. Will I have 24-hour access to my personal financial information with Online Banking?
For your convenience, Bank of Cape Cod’s Online Banking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of scheduled maintenance and outages as a result of circumstances beyond our control.

  7. How frequently is my account information updated?
Your personal financial information is updated continually. Online Banking provides “real-time” reporting, so you will see the results of activity to your account throughout the day and night.

  8. What should I do if I am unable to connect with the Online Banking service?
If you receive a message that your browser is unable to locate the server, you should first confirm that you can access other Internet sites successfully. If you cannot, contact your Internet service provider for further assistance. Next, confirm that the site address in the address bar is correct. If this doesn't correct the problem, the Online Banking site may be unexpectedly off-line. In this case, please phone us at 508.568.2300 or try again at a later time.

  9. What do the various names and logos at the bottom of the Online Banking page mean?
Premier e-Com is the brand name of the Internet Banking product developed by Information Technology, Inc., and used by FiServ, Bank of Cape Cod’s core data processor. The Veri-sign logo assures you that Online Banking is using a secure web site to ensure the security and privacy of your personal financial information.
